Dr. Kumar's Dental Avenue aims at providing dental care in all specialties of dentistry under one roof.
It was founded by Dr. Gopakumar in 2010, located at Judge Road opposite QRS Karamana.

Class B Sterilization System
We have given great focus and attention to proper sterilization of instruments as they are possible agents for pathogenic transmission from patient to patient
We carry out a 4 step sterilization standard for all non-disposable items.
step-1:The dental instruments are scrubbed thoroughly to discard debris.
step-2:The dental instruments are then rinsed in ultrasonic cleaner.
step-3:Autoclaving by class B sterilization system incompliance with international standards EN:13060.The State of the art in the sterilization field. Even the internal surfaces of hand pieces can be sterilized.Self diagnosis & Trouble shooting system.
step-4:Packed sterilized instruments are kept in U.V.Chamber to maintain sterilization.

Teeth Whitening

Growth Modification
Growth modification comes under Interceptive orthodontic treatment. This is done during growing stage and parental awareness for a check up is important. Growth modification aims at identifying and treating skeletal defects at a younger age and thus avoiding surgical therapy at later stages. For correcting small lower jaw we use functional appliances like Twin block, Bionator, Frankel & Forsus. Headgear treatment is done for upper jaw excess and gummy smile. Hyrax facemask & chin cap done for lower jaw excess cases. Habit breakers are advised for children having mouth breathing, thumb sucking, tongue thrusting & nail biting habits.
Surgical Extractions
Surgical extractions of impacted teeth like third molars, removal of small cysts and tumours, bone grafting, management of trauma to teeth and supporting bone are a few surgical procedures performed by an oral surgeon in our clinic.

Invisible Braces & Clear Aligners
For patients demanding invisible braces we provide different types as per their need. Invisible braces are of 3 types. Ceramic braces- tooth coloured, Clear ceramic braces- transparent & glass like look, Lingual braces- fixed to inside part of teeth and completely invisible outside. The latest technique to correct malpositioned teeth is to do it without braces. It is done by using transparent sheets of Clear Aligners without the use of braces. They are more aesthetic, patient friendly and do not require frequent doctor visits. In our clinic we recommend CAD CAM aligners like Invisalign, Clearpath and Clearbite.

Smile Correction With Braces
To have a beautiful smile, one has to have well aligned and proportionate teeth. All dimensions of smile, its development and micro aesthetics are well studied by the specialist Orthodontist, who is the smile creator. People may require orthodontic treatment to achieve pleasing smile. Orthodontic treatment is done in 3 aspects Preventive, Interceptive and Corrective. Preventive treatment aims at doing procedures so that jaws and teeth develop properly and the need for braces later will be reduced. Interceptive treatment aims at diagnosing the development of dental & jaw problems, aberrant habits and treating them so that complicated braces treatment is avoided later on. Gum Surgery & Bad Breath Treatment
Gum diseases are one of the most prevalent oral problems. Loose teeth, bad smell, generalised pain & sensitivity can occur due to gum problems. Cleaning of teeth, subgingival scaling & curettage and various flap surgeries are done to restore healthy gums. Bone grafts are done for loose teeth to make it stronger. In our bad breath treatment we will give you oral hygiene instructions, brushing techniques, special mouthwashes and other health tips.

Laser Treatment
We provide the cutting edge technology in gum treatment using LASERs for removing black discoloration of gums, gum swellings and treating periodontal infections. LASER therapy may avoid the use of injections during gum treatment and ensures less pain and faster healing. Minor surgeries, desensitisation, aphthous ulcer treatments are also performed with laser.
